Rhino won the KBMA Point Karate and BJJ Championship and Fought his first Bare Knuckles karate competition which he placed BRONZE 3rd place thru out the years of the KBMA tournament Championship's.
After 31 years of mix martial arts training and 25 years of fighting mix martial arts tournaments , Rhino is still a current competitor with 114 fights and won 60% . 77 wins and 37 losses and didn't mind working tournaments for 25 years to help others out and get the experience. Today he puts that aside to help promote a fair and safe martial arts tournament with team Rhino & friends!
Promoter Stephanie Yarbrough holds black belts in Hapkido & Kickboxing , a former kickboxer , and she retired the competition has a black belt national Karate champion undefeated in the self -defense division and was honored in the KBMA Hall of Fame by Hanshi E. Dukes in 2014 and served has ring head ring coordinator from 2013 thru 2019 .

In honor of our instructor / fight promoter, KBMA President, world champion Grand Master E Dukes , we want to bring him out of retirement and bring back the KBMA we all work hard running and competing & fighting in . Team Rhino & friends was a big part of the KBMA from 2012 thru 2019 . The KBMA was a big part of us has well . Both empty hand & weapon kata' s will have 2 min .
Forms will be judge on performance
high score on hip placement and how well you perform
low score if you stop , drop a weapon , lack stance , weak foot work , and or bad hip placement, etc .
Point sparring rules
foam dipped equipment
Head gear , gloves , shin guards , foot pads , groin cup , mouth piece.
2min per match or if someone is out scoring and there is no way the competitor can come back and win against his opponent we will call the match early
10points system
3 point for any spin and jumping kicks
2 points for any kicks that land on targets
1 point for any hand strike
Kicks from belt level to head level
No Lo kicks , no hitting from behind head , back , No hard contact , no running out of the ring to avoid getting hit , etc .
Point kickboxing / continuous karate / Muay Thai / American Kickboxing/ Boxing
light for all these divisions to semi contact . NO KO allowed . This is first step out of you're gym . Work you're technique and showcase you're skill level .
1 point for each technique that lands on a scoring targets
2 points for any leg strike that lands on target
3 Point will be added at the end of the match for the aggression, ring management, and whom controlled the fight .
