Mr.Yarbrough started training in mix martial arts styles of Hapkido , Karate , & JuJitsu in 1995 . At age 12

Started competing in boxing 2001 at age 18 full knock outs . fought in local Tuff Man contest boxing competitions .Trained at Triad Boxing Center , teachers are Hall of Fame Pro boxers under James ( BoneCrusher) Smith , Walter Johnson , Eddie Greggs , Carlette Ewell , Dick McDuffie , Cheryl Nance , Team Copeland under Joe Lewis / American kickboxing , Freddy Goad owner of KungFu USA , Joe Lewis /American Kickboxing to coach Bob Yoder KungFu school and MuayThai & superfoot Wallace kickboxing black belt Master Sam Albright also master rank in Karate , Taekwondo , and Hapkido , Master Sum Muay Thai kickboxing of Asheboro NC ,  Hanshi Ernest Dukes a black belt world champion in 1990 with 34 wins 32 by Ko and only 2 losses. under the Japanese Grandmaster and Korean Grand Masters has well as American kickboxing & Karate father legend Vic Moore . Along with many other greats , top talents of the sport . 

2003 started American NinJutsu / out door survival under Sensei Tim Ross and his dad the Late Frankie Ross  and 2018 earned Sho Dan black belt . Took 15 years cause Rhino only trained one day a week . He was looking for a kids class to put his nephew Cody Campbell in and sensei Tim allowed family class . Ryan Dad Horace Sessoms and ness Casey Campbell and friend late Tommy Christian also trained . 

started American Kickboxing in 2003 to 2004 . Left came back to kickboxing 2006 -2009 left came back to kickboxing 2013 and earned 3rd Dan American Kickboxing in 2025 . In 2006 
Rhino started teaching out of the Nautlus Gym in Lexington Ave , south side High Point 

2007 started learning BJJ under coach Felix Boggans his Hapkido student in High Point. and than later Evolution fight Academy MMA school to Gracie Jiu Jitsu and than joined a Gracie Jiu Jitsu school and Judo / BJJ / Japanese JuJitsu schools network in Kuro Bushi Martial Arts Organization with Hanshi Dukes & his board of directors. While also maintain his Korean Hapkido and Jujitsu under Grand Masters Derman Hodgr and WMKF and later earned a black belt in 2017 in Taekwondo under Grand Master Derman Hodge and 2025 joined WMAF and earned a second degree black belt in Danny Lane Jiu Jitsu and Chuck Norris Krav Maga honored black belt . Affix duel black belt in Danny Lane fighting system !!! While at this time Ryan was still training in Japanese Jiu Jitsu that he started in 1995 . With the influence of his teachers with heavy Judo , Japanese / American JuJitsu back grounds .

Thirty three years of training in mix martial arts , 25 years has a competitor in the rings , and 21 years of teaching/coaching and a tri state freestyle fighter with 121 fights in the ring . 83 wins and 38 losses .With one of the highest records in the state of North Carolina ... Note since fighting in black belt divisions since 2005 Coach Ryan Rhino only fights in submission grappling tournaments now since over the hill with a record of 121 fights winning 60 percent of the fights in  competition fights in the ring , cage , and mats of Boxing , Karate , kickboxing, sport JuJitsu , Bare knuckle karate , No Gi BJJ , Gi BJJ , weapon fighting , kata , self defense karate division and MuayThai , and tag team point karate matches .

2025 Rhino earned 3rd degree black belt in American Kickboxing under Karate & Middle weight World Champion Ernest Dukes 34 wins 4 losses 

Sensei Tim Ross my Sensei who is 3rd Dan in American Ninjutsu 

2014 I fought for my first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world championship in the KBMA and placed silver to the champ Professor Trey Singleton team Josh Marshall of Goldsboro NC 

2015 Won Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World title championship of KBMA 

Team Rhino BJJ competitors at the 2015 BJJ and kickboxing championships and Karate tournament. The KBMA was the biggest tournament format in NC 2013 thru 2019 . 

Ryan is nationally known for teaching the self defense art of Korean Hapkido .

In 2005 Ryan got the black belt in HapKiDo  started teaching martial arts . 
2006 black belted & started teaching JuJitsu and Karate 

2017 Ryan earned a black belt in MooSul Kwan TangSooDo which we called Korean Taekwondo and added that to the Hapkido program .

Jujitsu focus on the ground fighting has the Hapkido focus on more standup striking.

Ryan put this idea on dvd and got a contract to sell it at The store of martial arts in 2009 .Started a NC Hapkido study group. By 2012 Ryan Tri state annual martial arts camps grew to a nationwide event . 
Ryan had the honor of certifying HapkidoKa/ or Hapkidoist east to west coast .  From Mossuri , Kansas , Texas , Oregon , Wisconsin, Ohio , NC , SC , TN , Fl , NY , and Connecticut. 
Since 2005 Ryan has promoted a little over 50 black belts hands on ! Having top talented self defense martial artist come from all over the nation to train hands on with Ryan on the mat is the highest highlight of his career and truly a God answered prayer and blessing . Other than training together with the family !
