Meaning of Nin Jutsu 

Japanese JuJitsu is 100% Well rounded self defense martial art that was brought to America from Japan 

Our linage to Japan comes from Renshi Ryan's teacher ,  Hanshi Derman Hodge has his teacher came from Japan Soke Te'Sakura Tanaka  to teach JuJitsu .

Our linage to Japan from American Ninjutsu blood line comes from Robert Bussey whom lived in Japan to study under Soke Masaaki Hatsumi whom lives in Noda town , Chiba perfecture Japan at 94 years old and renowned Master Toshiro Nagato , a big guy famous in Japan for being a gentle giant in training and Robert Bussey brought NinJutsu back to the USA and I've trained with  with my instructor Mr. Ross and his instructors Master Ed Redmond and  - Master Yvonne Falgout , the Texas branch and my Sensei Tim Ross & Frank Ross in NC  . 

The art of Korean Hapkido  by renowned founder Choi Young Sul trained in Japan and lived with  Soke Sokura Takeda founder of Daito Ryu Aiki JuJitsu for 30 years . 

Black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under the tutelage of renowned martial arts legend Danny Lane a 9th Dan Japanese Ju Jitsu / Judo and 7th Dan Gracie Jiu Jitsu & USA director for Reylson Gracie in Brazil & 9th Dan Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from International Martial Arts Confederation Org in Hamamatsu Japan .

Our Instructor Ernest Dukes lived in Japan and studied Okinawa Karate and Kickboxing a life time martial artist whom earned the title Hanshi 10th Dan Red belt from the Grand Masters of the Art . 

The meaning of the Japanese art called Jiu Jitsu is translated in American has Gentle Art .

Jiu means Gentle and Jitsu means  Art .

There is no difference in the meaning of how the word is spelled . For example JuJutsu, Ju Jitsu , Jiu Jitsu , or Ju - Jitsu . It all means the same thing .

Deshi means novice student in American Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling based & full contact combat sport .It's focus is to take the opponent/ an attacker to the ground and utilize techniques to control them mostly by positioning and than submission by a choke or joint lock and it also teaches you to fight off your back and be dominant in scary situations by using and applying the right leverage.
